All about Truckroute
Truckroute plans a truck route by number plate with all the restrictions that come with it. Here you can read per topic what the route planner does.
Route and restrictions
- A truck route by number plate: Enter the number plate and Truckroute fetches weight, dimensions, Euro class and CO2 class from the RDW. The route then fits that exact vehicle.
- A route around low-emission and zero-emission zones: For each number plate the verdict for every low-emission and zero-emission zone, and a truck route that avoids the zones your vehicle may not enter.
- A route that fits height, weight and length: Truckroute avoids every sign and road section that is too tight for your truck, plus closures and roadworks, and explains with the route why it takes a detour.
Charges and tolls
- The Dutch truck charge per trip, and when a detour pays off: Truckroute calculates the Dutch truck charge per trip with the rate of your number plate, and compares the motorway with a route with fewer charges.
- Tolls and distance-based charges per country: Besides the Dutch truck charge, Truckroute calculates the German Maut, the Belgian distance charge per region and the Luxembourg Eurovignette per trip.
Heavy transport and ADR
- Route planner for LHVs (longer heavier vehicles): Choose LHV under dimensions and weight and Truckroute plans only over the roads of the RDW LHV network, with at least 25.25 m and 60,000 kg.
- Route for abnormal loads: Enter the dimensions of your transport and Truckroute plans over the roads where the RDW can grant an exemption for them: height, width, length and weight.
- Route with an ADR tunnel code: Choose the tunnel code of your load and Truckroute avoids every tunnel prohibited for that code, in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.
