Route with an ADR tunnel code

Tunnels have an ADR category from A to E. A category C tunnel is prohibited for loads with tunnel code B and C; D and E may pass. Truckroute knows the category of the tunnels and plans the route with the code of your load.

How to choose the code

Under Dimensions and weight, switch on Dangerous goods and choose the tunnel code from the transport document. A combined code such as B/D applies with the first letter to carriage in tanks or in bulk and with the second letter to other carriage; tick tank or bulk if that applies. If you do not know the code, Truckroute uses B, the strictest.

All tunnels on the map

The ADR tunnels layer shows every tunnel with its category, in its own colour per letter. Click a tunnel to see which codes it is prohibited for.

Source

The tunnel categories come from OpenStreetMap, where they are recorded per tunnel according to ADR 1.9.5. The signs at the tunnel always prevail.
