Truckrouteroute planner for trucks by number plate

By number plate

A truck route by number plate

A route for a van is not a route for a tractor with a semi-trailer. That is why Truckroute starts with the number plate: the vehicle comes from the RDW, and every restriction on the route is checked against it.

What Truckroute takes from the number plate

Vehicle type (tractor, rigid truck, van, bus), permitted weight, length, width, axle load, Euro class, CO2 class and the date of first registration. If a dimension is missing in the RDW, you enter it yourself; an entered value always takes precedence.

What the route does with it

Truckroute checks low-emission and zero-emission zones against the Euro class and the date of first registration. It checks traffic signs and road sections with a limit for height, width, length, weight or axle load against the dimensions. It calculates the Dutch truck charge with the rate that belongs to weight, CO2 class and Euro class.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with a foreign number plate?

The lookup works with Dutch number plates (RDW). For another vehicle you enter the dimensions, weight and Euro class yourself.

Does the server see which number plate I look up?

No. Your browser downloads a file with hundreds of number plates and searches it locally; the number plate you looked up does not leave your browser.
