Delete account

This applies to the Truckroute app (Android and iPhone, in the stores of developer Verleij Services BV) and the website www.truckroute.nl. Truckroute is a service of VYS Scheduling BV, Poolland 24, 1768 BX Barsingerhorn, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 73550027).

How to request it

Send an e-mail to info@vysscheduling.nl from the e-mail address of your Truckroute account, with the subject Delete account Truckroute. You can also call +31(0)85-4013599, or use the contact form.
State whether only your account should be deleted, or the whole account of your company with all users. Only the company administrator can have the whole company account deleted.
We check that the request comes from the e-mail address of the account, delete the account and confirm this by e-mail, within one month and usually within a few working days.

You do not need the app for this. After deletion you can no longer log in to the app or the website with that e-mail address.

What we delete

Your e-mail address, your role and your login details (when your account was created and when you last logged in).
For the whole company account also the company details (name, address, Chamber of Commerce and VAT number), the contact person with phone number and all users.
Outstanding login codes.

What remains for a while, and for how long

The audit log of logins and changes: 12 months, cannot be changed, for security and preventing abuse. Your network address is only in it as an irreversible code. After that it is deleted automatically.
Route requests: 7 days, and error reports from the app: at most 60 days. Both without name or e-mail address, with your account only as an irreversible code.
Web server log files: 2 weeks.
Invoices and payments of a subscription: 7 years, because the law requires this for the accounts.

Data on your phone

Your settings, vehicles, favourites, search history and any photo of your own are only on your phone. They disappear when you delete the app.

Also without a request

We automatically delete an account 12 months after the last login (or after creation, if you never logged in), unless your company has a running subscription.
